Mmm, Chocolate Events All Week, You Don't Say?
Ugh. Saturday is a the day for lovers, couples, kisses, and hearts. Or eating chocolate and downing booze if you're single like me. For the second one, you're on your own, but I can assist you in procuring the former.
From today until Thursday, events and more importantly, tastings will be going on in celebration of chocolate, food of the gods. A few of them are complimentary, while others are not. Some of our favorite places will be participating like La Maison du Chocolat (a chocolate tasting and education session Tuesday evening, $70) and Mariebelle (free tastings,) but what we're super excited about is an event going on tonight at 5pm in the Essex Street Market: Roni-Sue is going to be doing a demonstration! And hopefully, there will be Pig Candy! Yays! I can't think of a better way to get over being single on Valentine's Day than to eat bacon dipped in chocolate.
For more information on these and all the events, please visit Chocolate & I, New York.

I love that Roni-Sue pig candy. I chomped a bunch of it and washed it down with a vanilla milkshake.
