Tick Tock Diner, a conversation with a random stranger on my ride back to the Island, then four hours of sleep, and back into the city. Driving over the 59th Street Bridge, Bez and I saw the Idiotarod 2009 (careful on that link, it's loud on the other side) and the amazing-ness quality of my day was set. We're not even going to discuss me being rolled by Harry Winston in an office chair.
Tiny's Giant Sandwich Shop, a place I'd been wanting to try for something like 7 years, she concurred as one of their regular delivery customers. One good reason Bez like Tiny's is they're accommodating to vegetarians like herself. She usually gets the Silly Philly Portobello, but new year, new sandwich.
my favorite. Bez went with the chocolate bomb (which doesn't photograph well,) and I got a special, Strawberry Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. Yes, there are real strawberries in this cake. Moist, crumbly, fluffy, and delicious. This may turn me off cupcakes. Blasphemy!!
