I've gone to Norma's on a number of occasions. Usually for business. Their breakfasts which are served through lunchtime--they aren't open for dinner--are epically decadent.
We ordered the Arepa with Eggs and Chorizo and the Waz-Za?--a waffle with fruit inside, fruit outside, and a crackely Brulée top--normally these would be $22 each.
If you haven't been to Norma's yet, now is the time to treat yourself without breaking the bank.

i plan to go today. What savory dishes would you recommend? Were the waitstaff nice about this whole deal?
I had lunch at Norma's with a friend during Restaurant Week once. We both thought the freshly squeezed orange juice was to die for!
