Cinco de Mayo Cupcakes from Trophy in Seattle

The Cupcake Creation Station

I love New York, I really do. Most days being an East Coast supremacist works out pretty well for me. Then there are those days sorts of days when I get an email from, oh, I don't know, Trophy Cupcakes, my hands down favorite cupcakery in Seattle, reminding me it's time to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with their special Mexican Hot Chocolate Cupcake and Margarita Cupcake. Simply not fair...

Feast your eyes on these lovely shots, taken from Trophy's Facebook page...

For those of you in the Seattle area, you can get the Mexican Hot Chocolate Cupcake (cinnamon and cayenne spiced bittersweet cupcake) from May 1st through Saturday May 9th. Their newest flavor, the Margarita Cupcake, a Lime Cupcake made with lime zest, fresh lime juice and lime oil topped with tequila and lime Buttercream and finished with candied lime zest and salt will be available from Cinco de Mayo through the end of the month. So freaking jealous. I wonder if Trophy ships to NYC...

AND if all that weren't enough, Trophy is hosting an art exhibition for one of our favorite dessert bloggers, Jessie Oleson of Cakespy! The show runs runs May 6th through May31st with the opening this Wednesday from
6:00pm - 8:00pm. RSVP here on Facebook. I have to get back out to Seattle.

University Village shop opens tomorrow at 9am! It's confirmed, the second Trophy Cupcake shop opens their doors on 11th June. I adore their cupcakes and was so happy to hear about the new shop.
