A Victory for Cheese Lovers Everywhere!

Trader Joe's Roquefort

According to yesterday's Wall Street Journal, the European Commission and the U.S. have reached a provisional agreement in their ongoing dispute over the European Union's ban on hormone-treated beef. Other than the obvious beef/cow/milk connection, how does this impact cheese lovers? Well, for starters it looks like we're going to get a reprieve from the proposed 300% tariff on Roquefort cheese and other tasty imports...

If you're looking to get your Roquefort fix on in celebration might we suggest the following cheese outlets...

East Village Cheese
40 3rd Ave
New York, NY 10003

Trader Joe's
142 East 14th Street
New York, NY 10003
and
130 Court St
Brooklyn, NY 11201

Murray's Cheese

Oh thank god!!!! I stocked up on Roquefort back in March, and I'm a bit over it for a while but I'm glad to have an option now!
