While I'm not exactly on board with this chilly weather we've been having--fall's imminent arrival marks a the coming of a number of excellent big foodie events in the city. Bon Appetit's Supper Club returns 9/21 through 9/25, the Food Network's New York City Wine and Food Festival is back 10/8 through 10/11 and right in between Epicurious Entertains NYC kicks off on 9/30. Are we excited? Oh, you betcha...
BA SUPPER CLUB:
Blondie and I always hit up the Bon Appetit Supper Club and this year will be no exception. Grub Street has a great rundown of the day by day events and demos. For the latest BA Supper Club Updates follow their twitter.
EPICURIOUS ENTERTAINS NYC:
Very excited for this 5 day food event. The festivities kick off on Wednesday 9/30 with The Ultimate NYC Lunch Break, a $20 ticket buys you samples from Treats Truck, Mermaid Inn, Rickshaw Dumpling Bar, Toloache, ‘ino, Hill Country, and more. The Daniel Boloud and Mario Batali dinners and a few other events are sold out, but tickets are still available for The Ultimate NYC Lunch Break and a few other events including the Fatty Sunday Lunchtime Feast with Zak Pelaccio check their website for more info. Events run 9/30 through 10/4.
NYC WINE AND FOOD FESTIVAL:
This Food Network sponsored event promises dozens of awesome food events throughout the city. Tickets for some of the most popular events are selling out quickly if they aren't sold out already. The good news...they just released more tickets to the sold out SWEET, a late night dessert party hosted by Duff Goldman and Godiva. Last year's SWEET was AMAZING and these tickets will go quickly. If you need a little push to purchase your tickets check out these photos from last year's SWEET. Mmmmm. Delicious.
