Scanning through their menu they seemed to have more limited offerings than in the states. There were your standard burgers and some sort of chicken sandwich involving bacon. McFlurries with Cornetto candies mixed in and most intriguingly, waffle fries. Well, most intriguing until I saw the Crocchette con Spinaci e Parmigiano Reggiano.

Hold the phone. Spinach and cheese croquettes made with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese?! I’m totally in. An order came with 3 croquettes for 2.30€ and since I was their right when they opened at 10am, they were made right to order, so they were hot with a crispy breaded outside and an oozy Parmesan and spinach center. Yum. Now this is a McDonalds menu item I can get behind.
