Still chugging away with recipe tweaking and I need your help! I'm on the hunt for pickled mustard greens...
I first fell in love with pickled mustard greens at the Myanmar Baptist Church Food and Fun Fair. The ones in the picture above were homemade by a nice church lady. I always planned to hunt down pickled mustard greens to make some homemade Shan Noodles, but never did. Now I need some to retest Bian Dang's Pork Sauce for our book and I haven't been able to find them. Lawman tried 4 stores south of Canal yesterday with no success. Any leads appreciated!

I'm surprised you weren't able to find these in Chinatown. The supermarket I go to in Flushing sells this and most others I've been to do as well. The one I go to in Flushing is Gold City Supermarket (4631 Kissena Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11355).
I've seen them in Japanese grocery stores with the other pickles. Places like Sunrise Market and Yagura.
Any of the large chinese supermarkets in Chinatown will carry packaged pickled mustard greens. I usually find them by the refrigerated section or sometimes they are located by the butcher's department.
You can get them at Hong Kong Supermarket in Flushing or Chinatown. :)
Any Chinese supermarket in Manhattan or Flushing. I shop in Flushing so I've bought them at Sky Foods in the Sky Mall on College Point, I've seen them in J-Mart on Roosevelt (New World Mall) by the refrigerated Chinese sausages and in Hong Kong supermarket in Flushing as well
